Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Recruitment of Assistants (Total 506 posts) | July 2014

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has published notification for recruiting 506 numbers of Assistants. The last date for application for these posts will be 6th August 2014. The advertisement published in newspapers reads as follows.
The Reserve Bank of India invites applications from eligible candidates for 506 posts of “Assistant” in various offices of the bank. Selection for the post will be through a countrywide Competitive Online examination and Interview.

The full text of the advertisement is available on the Banks’ website www.rbi.org.in and is also being published in the Employment News/Rojghar Samachar on or after July 26, 2014.
Application will be accepted only Online through the Banks’ website.

Scheme of Written examination:
Selection will be through Online Examination and Interview. The Online Examination will be for 200 marks and is tentatively scheduled to be held in the fourth week of September 2014

i) The above tests except the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.
ii) A candidate has to qualify in each part of the Objective test separately. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective tests.

iii) Final selection will be made depending on the candidates performance in written test and interview.
